Firstly welcome to A R Nunn Plumbing and Heating, as my first blog post I would like to introduce myself and give a little background on me and my company. My name is Antony Nunn (Tony to most) and I am the owner and sole worker of the business, I have been trading for around 8 years on my own, in that time building a strong customer base and completing jobs big and small across Colchester, Maldon, Tiptree and Ipswich. I was lucky enough to be trained by a long-standing ex British Gas engineer... my Dad! I've worked alongside my Dad for many years learning the trade and honing skills along with picking up experience that would take years to gain working alone. I enjoy my work and take pride in everything I do from changing a washer to changing a boiler, as my Dad always said "you have to take the rough with the smooth" and after many years I totally agree, some jobs can be testing and some straightforward but at the end of the day if the customer is happy then the job has been successful. I am lucky enough to be married to a wonderful woman for 13 years who works at Colchester general hospital and we have two lovely little girls that keep me on my toes! I currently live in West Bergholt, Colchester and have been here for around 2 years, moving from Highwoods after 12 years. We love the village life, working and meeting local people in the area is great. I work mainly in Colchester but also venture out to Ipswich, Sudbury, Maldon, Tiptree etc when required.
I'm looking forward to keeping the blog updated with all aspects of plumbing and heating and will be offering advice and news along the way as well as keeping updated with current and previous work completed so customers can see the quality work I offer.
